The event will be hosted by Senator Jo Comerford and Senator Patrick O’Connor. Panelists include:
— Ira Helfand, MD, Co-founder and Past President of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR), a co-President of International Physicians for Social Responsibility (IPPNW), and a member of the International Steering Group of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN).
— Elaine Scarry, PhD, Walter M. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics and the General Theory of Value at Harvard University
— David Wright, PhD, Senior Scientist & Co-Director, Global Security Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists
